Tema del dia: We ain´t gonna take it

Todo un himno de los 80, de la mano de Twisted Sister, y la voz de Dee Snider, azote de la moral estadounidense que con sus pegatinas de "advertencia a los padres" solo consiguió multiplicar las ventas de discos de Heavy Metal. Dee Snider fue el portavoz del Rock ante una comisión de censura encabezada por la mujer de Al gore (Tipper Gore), que esperaba medirse a un melenudo colocado e inculto, y se topó con un personaje carismático y persuasivo.
Twisted Sister nace en Nueva York en 1973, abanderados del Glam Rock, amantes de la polémica y el maquillaje y del humor en letras y escenario.
El tema We Ain´t gonna take it apareció en su tercer álbum (Stay hungry, 1984) y pronto se convirtió en un grito de la juventud hacia la opresión moral impuesta por el gobierno y la familia.
